What Happened to My Joy???

I’ll tell you what happened to your joy! Thiefius is what happened! Thiefius is a demon in my book who’s only mission in life is to steal things, or to get people to steal them for him. So, what does he steal? Hope, peace and JOY! Well, you say, he’s a character in your book, so how’s he stealing my stuff. Yes, he’s only a character, but he represents anything and all things to do with negative thoughts, negative feelings toward yourself and others, and negative actions. With all that negativity, how could you possibly have joy, peace or even hope of anything good?! Think about that for a minute. If your mind is continually in chaos with negative thoughts, thoughts that are gloomy, sad, depressing, thoughts that make you feel bad or think badly of yourself or others, there’s isn’t any room for those things that are good. And if you do not allow good things into your mind and soul, you’ll shut down - like your heart will be closed off and you won’t be able to feel love or receive love from others, all because you chose to allow this demon, Thiefius (or these negative thoughts) to take control of your mind, your emotions and your actions. However, if you keep your guard up and refuse to allow those thoughts to come in and control you, by replacing them with good thoughts, positive thoughts about yourself and others, then your heart will stay open, and you won’t shut off from those who love you. It is so easy to close off when we’ve been hurt or disappointed, I know, I’ve been there. :(    So, please don’t allow negativity of any kind to take control and steal your joy!

Scripture – Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you TRUST IN HIM, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” And one of my favorite, Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am GENTLE AND HUMBLE IN HEART, and you will find REST for YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Love that scripture, because of my personal relationship with Christ I have seen how humble, gentle and how, how, sweet He is in my life and with me and all of my mistakes that I have made. He is so forgiving, and forgiving and forgiving and He heals the broken-hearted. Trust Him, He will never let you down. Satan will come in and try and tell you that the Lord did this or that and that is why people treat you that way or why you don’t have what your heart desires, but I am here to tell you that, that is a lie. Jesus always wants the best for us! And that is the truth! He loves you and me dearly, He died for us because our Heavenly Father and Jesus wants that personal relationship with us that we once had in the garden of Eden, before SATAN lied to Adam and Eve and created the fall, which caused us to separate from our creator. The Lord loves you and always will! Praises be to Jesus! Amen!
